Our story
Mechaphix.ca began with a passion for cars and a need for reliable auto parts in Canada. Frustrated with importing parts from the US and Europe, only to get hit with unknown duties and fees at the border, we set out to create a central location for Canadian builders and car enthusiasts to find the parts they need. What started as a personal project for an e36 M3 build has grown into a commitment to serving the Canadian automotive community.
Meet Jesse, the creative
Mechaphix Inc. Started as an idea. A thought. A need to blaze my own path. It started as an idea for a Mechanical contracting company; as I am a Millwright by trade. I didn't want the typical "tek" or "mechanical contracting" at the end of the name. I set out to create a name I thought held value for who I am, and what I do. I am a mechanic; I fix. This is where Mechaphix comes from. I then registered the corporation to solidify the name and a need to push further. Over time while pondering where to take this idea, I purchased a 1999 BMW M3. In the year or two following, the idea of Mechaphix Inc has grown to become a blue collar brand, with every further idea an extension of the Mechaphix Inc umbrella. Having decided to start a drift car build with my M3 I have found it incredibly difficult to source parts without having unsuspecting fees show up when it hits the border. Thus, mechaphix.ca was born.
